Soup Talks is a series of informal conversations with the artists presenting their work during the Moving in November festival from the 5th to the 15th of November 2026. The talks form a discursive line that goes through the festival and brings people together. We want to welcome the audience and the artists around a big table with a bowl of warm soup. Everybody is invited to join in, listen, pose questions, and take part in the discussions. Each of the talks will be hosted by a local artist.

The Soup Talks are organized together in collaboration with Caisa.

Heli Keskikallio is a choreographer, dance artist and pedagogue based in Helsinki. She works with dance and multimaterial bodily thinking, making performances and performative events often in and with public spaces. Her practice explores ecological sensitivity and speculative somatics through sensuousness, flesh, and extra linguistic expressivities. Different registers and processes of bodily thinking and sensuous ways of knowing are crucial elements of her work. Keskikallio graduated with a master’s degree in choreography from Uniarts Helsinki’s Theatre Academy in 2016 and with a degree in dance pedagogy from Savonia University of Applied Sciences in 2010. Her practice extends to facilitating and curating artistic events, teaching dance in diverse contexts, writing texts on body, dancerly thinking and the artistic working structures, and actively contributing to different associations working towards a more diverse dance art field.
Hannah Krebs (she/they) approaches choreography from the perspective of a dancer, creating performances that move between entertainment and melancholy. Working with fictional worlds, unstable memories and collective imagination, Hannah often uses entertainment as a critical tool rather than an escape from reality. Through choreography, storytelling, and serious playfulness, she creates performance worlds where spectacle, laughter, and vulnerability unfold simultaneously.
Hannah holds a BA in Dance from University of Music and Dance Cologne and an MA in Choreography from Stockholm University of the Arts and also studied at EXERCE in Montpellier. Her works have been presented at venues and festivals including OUTNOW! Festival (DE), Tanzhaus NRW (DE), MDT Stockholm and Weld Stockholm. Alongside her own work, she has been a dancer for Nature Theater of Oklahoma, Lisen Pousette, Ellen Söderhult, and Judit Förster.
Lydia Touliatou is a Helsinki-based Greek choreographer and researcher trained in Bharatanatyam and Western dance techniques. She holds a BA in contemporary dance from Trinity Laban and an MA in Choreography from the University of the Arts Helsinki. Since 2023, she has been part of the “Terra-Performing” research project that investigates the intersection of Machine Learning, Extractivism, and Choreography. Her latest work is ATROPOS (2025), presented at Zodiak – Centre for New Dance.

Tuuli Vahtola is a dance and performance artist based in Helsinki, Finland, and Moving in November’s Communications producer. Her artistic work explores modes of presence, social interaction, intimacy, and affective memory. Vahtola’s works have been shown in New Performance Turku Biennale, Contemporary Art Space Kutomo, Mad House Helsinki. As a performer Tuuli has recently worked with choreographers Sonja Jokiniemi, Oda Brekke, and Mikko Niemistö. Tuuli holds a BA of Fine Arts in Dance from Stockholm University of the Arts and an MA of Social Sciences from Tampere University.
Lisen Pousette is a choreographer and dancer based in Stockholm, Sweden. Her work engages with body, voice, and sound practices. Driven by a fascination with their materiality and relational dimensions, she works across a spectrum of expressions ranging from the most subtle sonic gestures to more extreme vocal forms.
She forms a duo with choreographer Olivia Rivière (Copenhagen, Denmark), where they together have been exploring the embodiment of extended vocal practices since the beginning of their collaboration in 2017. Their work has a somatic approach as its entry point and looks to skew and expand the gendered voice through its affective potentials and reach. Drawn to visceral techniques such as growling and screaming variations, they move through different intensities, creating open-ended situations that seek out resonance.
Their works have been presented at venues, festivals, and galleries such as ImPulsTanz (Austria), MDT (Sweden), Dansehallerne (Denmark), Weld (Sweden), Black Box Theatre (Norway), Les Urbaines (Switzerland), Roskilde Festival (Denmark), and Shower (South Korea).
During 2026, Lisen has worked as a performer at the Netherlands Pavilion at the Venice Biennale (Italy), in a vocal based piece by artist Dries Verhoeven.
Homa Shokri is a Helsinki-based performance director and dramaturg. She works across theatre, dance, and performance, exploring forms of political violence that remain hidden, normalized, or difficult to represent. Her practice is interested in the body as a site of control, exhaustion, and transformation, often working with repetition, stillness, measurement, and grotesque imagery. She approaches performance as a space where political structures can be encountered through physical and sensory experiences rather than represented only through narrative. Shokri holds an MA in Directing from the Theatre Academy of the University of the Arts Helsinki and a BA in Playwriting from the University of Tehran. Her performances and installations have been presented internationally in theatres, festivals, and interdisciplinary art contexts.
Alina Sakko is a dance artist interested in experiential accessibility of contemporary dance; how to bring the abstract corporeal amazingness of how to be in relation to the world to also people outside of the contemporary dance scene. Her deepest love in dance comes down to the potential of the dancing body as a storyteller. Her choreographies are dances between the concrete and the abstract: the works visit poetic landscapes and recognisable imagery while enjoying small spectacles. Alina’s work has been presented e.g as part of Moving in November (Focus on the Local Landscape 2024 and 2025), The Place theatre, at Rauma Lace Week, Yötön Nattlös-festival and as part of Akola Forum’s (Oulu2026) program. As a performer Alina has worked e.g with Routa Company, Liisa Pentti +Co, MimoArt Company, Kajaani City Theatre, Taneli Törmä, Bita Razavi, and Vilma Tihilä. Alina is one of the founding members of MOŸ MOŸ collective; an international artistic support network. She served as a chair of the board at Reality Research Centre during years 2025 and 2026.
Riikka Lakea is a Helsinki-based dance artist, filmmaker, and producer. They specialise in creating performer-driven and site-specific works, as well as developing low-hierarchy and ecologically and socially sustainable working methods. Key themes in Lakea’s work include dancing to music, queer ecology, and animal stories.

Kati Raatikainen is a choreographer and pedagogue based in Helsinki. Her work has been presented, for example, at Zodiak – Center for New Dance, Mad House, the Tampere Theatre Festival, and the Helsinki Biennial.
